Final Cut Pro is almost the most popular video editing software at present. More and more video enthusiasts, editors, and even film makers prefer Final Cut Pro out of its powerful performance and compatibility. It supports a great number of simultaneously composited video tracks, unlimited audio tracks and multi-camera editing for combining video, as well as standard ripple, roll, slip, slide, scrub, razor blade and time remapping edit functions and so on.

Although Final Cut Pro has countless well-known formidable functions, it is also “nitpicking” to importing formats of videos. For example, as we all know, most camcorders output AVCHD files, but it is not allowed to directly edit AVCHD in Final Cut Pro. Before the postproduction, I should convert Panasonic AVCHD to ProRes for Final Cut Pro. Here I would recommend you a piece of fantastic converter which I have used for one year without making any mistakes – Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac.

Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac features in converting MTS and M2TS files perfectly and some basic editing functions during the conversion.
It mainly supports MTS/M2TS to AVI, MP4, MOV, SWF, Apple ProRes and many other common formats.

This software also converts MTS/M2TS to Final Cut Pro etc with Native Codec and turns MTS/M2TS into Apple ProRes so that it can be compatible to iMovie, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Avid Media Composer Sony Vegas and lots of other editing software and players.
